14% of adults in the U.S. can't read, and 21% read below a 5th grade reading level. [source] It stands to reason that the number of people who have trouble spelling is even higher (much higher, if twitter is any indication).
The purpose of this web application is to help you to learn spelling through a system of rapid feedback. By instantly getting feedback, your brain can learn much more effectively than through other methods, and certainly faster than the process of learning through the osmosis of reading.
